PolioPlusRotary International has announced a partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that will inject a much needed $200 million into the global effort to eradicate polio. The Rotary Foundation received a $100 million Gates Foundation challenge grant, which Rotary will raise funds to match, dollar for dollar, over three years.  Learn more.

  • NCSSM World Record Food Drive - March 20th Students at The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics have launched an effort in partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina to set a Guinness World Record for the most food collected at a single location in a 24 hour period.  The attempt has been sanctioned by Guinness and takes place March 20th.  Learn more at the NCSSM Food Drive Site
